David De Franco has been involved in minor hockey sice the age of 6. His experience playing in the GTHL allows him to understand players and meet them wherever they are at in their hockey journey. His patient style of coachig is centered on a process rather than out come based approach which allows him to be an important part of the progression and development of young athletes. His coaching style is based on modelling and feedback and he push the players he coaches to embrce mistakes and take risks. A former student of Vital Hockey, David was raised on the curriculum of skill development that is so unique to Vital Hockey, and has an in depth understanding of the skill drills and progressions. David is now pursuing a degree at York University for the undergraduate of Disaster and Emergency Management.
